This may be my favorite Demographic Crisis comic, if only for the use of the word "decriminalize." Also, obese anime fan is quickly becoming my favorite character.

And I just realized that my craptastic scanner cut off the word "crisis."

Yeah, yeah, it's been a lot of yellow fever jokes lately. They can't all be penetrating commentaries on vital Japanese social issues. And this one was just so tasteless, I couldn't resist.

I'm going back to Japan as a JET this year, so maybe that will generate some fresh material.
